Ashley H. Belanger Consulting
Ashley spent her first 10 years in the nonprofit sector building a nonprofit from the ground up. After completing a year of national service as its first AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteer in Service to America), she successfully transitioned the Rhode Island Urban Debate League from a programme of Brown University to an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit.
As founding executive director, she led all aspects of organizational development, including corporate governance, strategic planning, fundraising, program evaluation, program expansion, and succession.
In her consulting practice, Ashley partners with clients on various capacity-building efforts, including fundraising, governance training, and strategic planning. In addition to strategic counsel, she provides expert donor-centered communications services for select clients.
She began volunteering with Rogare in fall 2016. Additionally, she currently co-chairs the professional development committee of Rhode Island’s Association of Fundraising Professionals chapter; advises nonprofit ventures at the Social Enterprise Greenhouse; and serves on the Providence Juvenile Hearing Board.
