Damian Chapman is the founder of and lead consultant at Fundraiser In The Room, the global consultancy helping nonprofits become effective fundraising organisations. His work sits at the intersection of organisational design and development, systems thinking, and performance improvement. After more than 20 years in fundraising, communications, and DDaT leadership, Damian saw the same pressures play out again and again- people working hard but within a system that was working against them. 

Damian now works with leadership teams across sectors to diagnose organisational friction, redesign how value flows, and build cultures that support clarity, confidence, and sustainable performance. Damian's commitment to the profession of fundraising extends into his voluntary roles with the Chartered Institutes of both Fundraising and Public Relations, The Fundraising Regulator, The Elischer Foundation, and Rogare – the Fundraising Think Tank.
