Paula has been a fundraiser since the early 1990s. As CEO of ST (Stephen Thomas Ltd), a marketing and fundraising agency based in Toronto, Canada, Paula keeps abreast of all things fundraising from an international perspective, particularly in the realm of integrated direct response annual giving, and brings relevant and innovative insights and thought leadership back to ST’s non-profit clients with a view to making our sector even better.

Paula is a long-time volunteer for the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), the world’s largest community of social impact fundraisers. She currently sits on the board of directors of AFP Toronto. Paula is also a founding director of AFP Canada and is past chair of its board.

Paula became involved in Rogare through AFP Canada when Rogare was engaged to develop the Canadian Fundraising Narrative. At that time, ST joined Rogare as Associate Members. Paula is actively bringing the Fundraising Narrative to fundraisers in Canada and abroad.
